Booking & planning
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens! If you need to reschedule, let me know as soon as possible. We will find a mutually agreeable time and date.
For cancellations, the deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a future session if given enough notice.
If there are weather concerns I will reach out and see if you would like to reschedule.
Do you require a deposit to reserve a date?
Yes, a $50 deposit is required to secure your session. This goes toward your total and holds your date on my calendar.
LOCATION & TRAVEL
Do you help choose the location?
Absolutely! I provide a detailed location guide with my favorite Central Coast spots, including beaches, parks, and unique locations. I’m happy to recommend one based on what you are looking for.
Do you travel outside the Central Coast area?
Yes! I’m based in California but also frequently travel outside of California. If I’m in your area or you're planning something special, let’s chat about scheduling.
Can sessions happen at my home?
Definitely. In-home sessions can be incredibly cozy and meaningful, especially for newborn or lifestyle shoots.
Styling & Prep
Do you offer styling help or wardrobe guides?
Yes! All booked sessions include access to a curated style guide with outfit suggestions, color palettes, and tips for looking and feeling your best in front of the camera.
What if my kids won’t sit still or cooperate?
That’s totally okay, my style is very relaxed and child-led. I focus on candid moments, play, and connection rather than perfect poses.
Policies & Legal
Will you share our photos online or use them in your portfolio?
Yes, I often share images on social media and my website to showcase my work. However, if you’d prefer your images, especially those with children, not be shared, you can opt out in your contract and I will absolutely honor that.
During the Session
Can we bring props or include pets?
Yes, I love including meaningful props or furry family members! Just let me know in advance so we can choose a pet-friendly location.
Please note: pets aren’t allowed in mini sessions due to time constraints.
Do you offer outfit changes during the session?
Yes, for sessions that are 60 minutes or longer, you’re welcome to bring an outfit change if you’d like some variety in your gallery. Depending on the session it may cost an additional fee.
Gallery & Delivery
How many photos will we receive?
The number of edited images depends on the length of your session. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional images if you'd like more.
When will we get our photos back?
Your final edited gallery will be delivered within 1–2 weeks after your session.
Will our gallery be downloadable or print-ready?
Yes! Your gallery will be fully downloadable in high resolution and ready for printing or sharing online.
Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes, professional-quality prints and heirloom albums are available for order directly through your gallery. I’m happy to guide you through the process if you’d like help designing a keepsake.
Do you edit or retouch people in the photos?
I lightly retouch photos to remove flyaways, distractions, or small blemishes—but I don’t alter body shapes or facial features. My goal is to reflect the real, natural beauty of you and your loved ones.
